An improvisation is an action.
The improvisation allows me to express whatever I am feeling in the moment. This allows the release of creativity, which I can then use in every area of my life. It’s for me like keeping a sort of ‘aural journal’.
Now, I don't do this every day, but when the mood strikes I do. It might be the sight of something inspirational like a gesture, movement .When the feeling comes, I move towards the piano and just play.
It's now a part of me. A part I would never want to give up or lose.
